RETURNS/DAMAGESDESCRIPTION ERRORS, DAMAGES, DEFECTS & RETURNS POLICY Southeastern Gun Company & Sportsman's Safari (SGC & SS), will help you in as much as possible, but we can no longer offer exchange or refund for merchandise covered under this policy.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY - Shipments received on the customer’s behalf are the customer’s responsibility. The customer will allow only an authorized agent to receive their package, and will neither allow opening the package nor removal or handling of package contents outside of the customer's view. Customers are encouraged to have packages insured. DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE & WARRANTY - Merchandise received that is defective or non-serviceable is the responsibility of the customer. The customer must contact the manufacturer in a timely manner, and provide warranty and product information received with the merchandise. DAMAGES, THEFT, LOSSES - Customers are encouraged to and responsible for purchasing shipping insurance. Claims for shipping related damages, thefts, or lost packages are the customer’s responsibility and must be resolved with the carrier. For damages and partial theft, the package and contents must be retained in the condition received; else the carrier may neither inspect the merchandise nor process a claim. The customer must file a timely claim with the carrier, using the tracking or transaction number assigned to the shipment. RETURNS - SGC & SS will not accept unauthorized returns of any merchandise. In the event that SGC & SS authorizes a return, the customer must obtain a return authorization number from SGC & SS. Although SGC & SS will provide the return shipping label, the customer is responsible for affixing the shipping label and ensuring the merchandise is properly disposed into the carrier's possession in a timely manner. The customer must also pack the merchandise in a manner consistent with safe and damage-free shipping. All returns must be in the same condition as received by the customer, contain the original box and packaging, and must be unhandled. Returned merchandise indicating handling, usage, or wear will not be accepted, nor will merchandise not properly packed be accepted if there is any evidence of damage to the merchandise or original packaging. |
